Time Tracking

The basics of executing tasks using Amna

Time tracking in Amna is natural. If you get work done using Amna, you can get detailed time tracking information.

How it Works

Time tracking in Amna is automatic. We believe the accuracy will improve over time.

  • Everytime you open a browser or a space, a timer begins for the task you are working on.

  • To stop the timer, simply exit out of a space to a list of all your tasks, or hit the “back” button on the Amna Focus Bar.

Even opening a space casually, such as to edit a note, or read something will be noted when time tracking. Amna keeps track of precise context switches.

We really believe that humans do well with one thing at a time.

Setting Colors

Everytime you visit the time tracking page, the colors are randomized. If a color scheme is hard on the eyes, navigate to a different page, and come back. We will introduce the ability to customize colors in the future.

On average, doing a solid 3-5 hours of focused work in Amna is a great way to see how you’re working.
